Arun Vijay says that importance has been given for action scenes in Maanja Velu. The shooting of Maanja Velu is going on in Tirunindravur Irudayaleshwar Temple.
During the shooting he spoke to the media. He said,” My fans prefer to see me in action oriented roles. This I came to know through the film Malai Malai. So I have decided to choose action role and act in them. So I have prepared myself to act in action films. Maanja Velu is an action film. If you don’t use Maanja carefully it will injure the person using it. This is the crux of this film. Stunt Master Kanal Kannan has given call sheet for 4 days and is composing the fight sequences.
Adding more, he totted up: “I am also taking rigid practice and participating in the shooting. The chasing scene featuring me and 40 stunt actors will be much spoken. The song before the climax was shot at a cost of Rs 1Crore. We have planned to release this film on January 29th. We also will be celebrating the success of ‘Malai Malai’ in a big and grand manner.”
