Kathiravel Gets Ready

After an overpowering start with ‘Anjathey’, actor Ajmal has been keeping low-profile with his selections. His other films ‘TN 07 AL 4777’ and ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru [^]’ hasn’t been a sort of honorabilities. But this time [^] with ‘Kathiravel’, he vows to fetch rave reviews and so tells Venkat making debut directorial with this film.

‘Kathiravel’ revolves around an emotionally bonding tale between father and son with commercial ingredients. Ajmal takes on the role of Kathiresan while Ponvannan as his father Veluchaamy. The film [^] is about Kathiresan’s journey from village to City and the problems he faces there.

Director Venkat earlier assisted Saran in various films and the film is produced by Senthil Kumar under the banner of Papillion Communications. Ganja Karuppu, John Vijay, G.M. Kumar, Kadhal Thandapani and others have performed prominent roles. Debutant Shajan Madhav has scored music to the lyrics of Priyan….

The film is close on the heels of completion and is slated to hit screens in April.
